Very easy to lock and secure to my Jeep Wrangler brake pedal. The metal used in the bar is very strong and doesn't flex at all. The lock that comes with it is good.
Theft deterrent. Locks will only keep honest people honest, and some locks will make other people think twice. This is one of those locks. It certainly not going to be broken or easily removed by anyone without a key for it. Adds a bit of peace of mind. My vehicle will not be stolen so easily again.
